"I do not understand much of society's thoughts and formulas on marriage and the partnership therein. It only makes sense to me the way God stated it so clearly in the begnning. He made woman for man, and within that context the idea of fifty-fifty giving that I hear of does not seem to fit. I want the simplicity and purity of the perspective that when I commit myself to a man in marriage I shall give all that I have to him in love, without any claims to what I desire out of him.
